Election 08 Update

Well, after watching the election returns on tv for a few minutes, we decided to head down to Times Square and Rockefeller Center to see the action ourselves. It was a great time and there were tons of people. Times Square was almost wall to wall people. The results were being shown on several large screens and ticker tapes in Times Square and the crowd cheered as the results from each state was updated. There were very few people cheering for McCain, or if they were, they were quite about it!

Way too cool. It looked like a rockin' party to be at. Almost like New Year's Eve! We love reading your adventure stories!

That looks like a cool way to watch the results. I must say I did not watch, assuming that my man McCain would win. I thought since he had chosen the best running mate possible there was no way he could loose. Then the phone rang at 9PM and it was Rozanne witht he bad news, somehow Obama had won......that is a joke I was elated and can't wait to she how the future unfolds. It sounds like you are all having fun. I have enjoyed reading all your adventures but I can't believe how much you do in a week. I missed one week and had to spend 30 minutes reading to catch up! Have a family hug for me.

PS We got our first snowfall on Monday!
